Well Nuts

A Well Nut is a rubber insert with an internally threaded metal insert that can be installed when you do not have access to both sides of the panel. As you tighten the Screw into the Well Nut, the rubber compresses and secures the Well Nut to the body panel.

These are commonly used for installing fender flares or other trim pieces when you can not access the back of the panel to install a nut.
